After a weak debut with his first single "Something 'Bout Love" last week, David Archuleta's upcoming album The Other Side Down has been pushed back from a September release to October.
His website reads:
"We’d like you all to be the first to know that the release date for The Other Side of Down has changed. It will now be coming on October 5th. Like the last time we dealt with a date change, this one is definitely for the best. David would like to make sure he’s delivering the best possible album and he needs just a little more time to do it."

Oh, well, the staff in the mailroom at your prison has been besieged with love letters, ransom notes and Valuepak coupons all addressed to one Lindsay Lohan. They are from your fans. Didn't you know you had any of those, did you? The prison folk say that they've been roughly getting around 250 letters a day for you.

What's that now? You haven't gotten any of this mail?
No, you wouldn't. Not yet anyway. The prison only allows it's occupants 10 letters at a time. But no worries, when you are released from the clink and moved to your seaside rehab facility, they'll hand over the bushels of envelopes to you and you can delve into what is sure to be a fountain of literary poetry.

Arizona Appeals Immigration Law Ruling!!!
Two steps forward, one step back. What is wrong with people?
Yesterday, a morally in tuned judge ruled that parts of Arizona's new Immigration law would be put on hold for further review, including the section requiring officials to check a resident's immigration status when enforcing other laws if there's a reasonable suspicion the person is in the United States illegally.
We were thrilled by the news, as were many others who have been fiercely protesting this law, which is basically legalizing racial profiling!
Yeah, well, the dishonorable Governor of Arizona isn't happy with this decision to hold back and has filed an appeal to lift the preliminary injunction so that the ENTIRE law can take effect…and like, NOW!
How about, instead of that, you just BACK THE EFF OFF?!?!

Lindsay Gets Put In Isolation After Inmates Heckle Her!
Call the waaaahmbulance!
Lindsay has been put in lockdown after her fellow L.A. County jail inmates began chanting "firecrotch" over and over, causing the jailed actress to have a "hysterical fit."
Inmate Cheryl Presser, who was recently released and witnessed Lilo's breakdown, said, "Lindsay would lie there shivering all night, crying and covering her face with her hands. Her wailing was keeping everyone awake …. She had a hysterical fit, crying and yelling, so she got put in isolation."
Sources say that Lindsanity is being monitored 24 hours a day and was even briefly admitted to a nearby medical center after she was seen with a number of scratches on her arms.
She's already scheduled to get out sooner than expected, with some saying she might be out in a few days!

Mel Volunteers For Supervised Visitation With Daughter
It seems Mel Gibson is so worried about new abuse claims from Oksana Grigorieva that he has volunteered to have an independent observer present when he visits his daughter.
The observer has been there for the past week at the recommendation of Mel's legal team. Not only will the supervisor serve as a witness in case Oksana brings new allegations against him, but he can hurry the investigation by the L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services.
Mel's lawyer's picked out the observer, who is credentialed in family law, themselves. He is providing regular updated to Family Service.
Hope he plans on having supervised visitation for a LONG time! It's gonna take a lot to trust him after this shiz.

Maroon 5 Protests Arizona Immigration Law, Will Not Tour There Either!

Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine has revealed that when he and the band start touring their new album, Hands All Over, they WILL be joining the long list of talent that is boycotting Arizona due to the new immigration laws!
He says:
"I did an interview in Tucson on the radio. [The host] asked about playing there. I said it was a really difficult decision to make because we have fans out there that are being penalized essentially by us not playing, so it's a really difficult decision to make. It really kind of comes down to what feels right, and it really didn't feel right to play there and reward Arizona for what we thought was a really bad decision. We're just citizens. It's always good to look at everything that we're talking about, discussing, debating or standing up for as an issue, not to grandstand, necessarily, our beliefs, but kind of just follow our hearts, as cheesy as that sounds, and say, 'Look, this is how I feel, so I'm going to do this.'"

15 Killed At Germany’s Love Parade Festival
This is awful!
As 500,000 people gathered in Duisburg, Germany for the Love Parade Festival on Saturday, a mass stampede killed 15 people and left 40 injured.
A state of emergency was declared as several techno music fans were trampled to death in a tunnel connecting a railway goods yard to the concert grounds.
Concertgoer Karl Lowenstein said:
“It was hell. The tunnel was dark, it was full. Something happened - whether someone tripped or someone fell I don’t know. But there was a stampede to get to the other end and those who fell… well, many of them never got up again.
A friend and I got out as hundreds more poured in. We tried to tell them to close it down, but they didn’t listen. This was about 45 minutes before people were killed.”
Medical workers were even having trouble getting to the wounded because of the thousands of meandering people standing the the way.
Another witness said:
"I have never seen anything like it. I saw 25 people piled on top of one another, a huge heap. I cried.
The people couldn’t get any air. I saw the dead there. One person was completely pale and I wanted to give him some water but a medic said that wouldn’t help him - he was already gone. I saw police on the bridge just standing there and they didn’t do anything.”

Lindsanity Plumped Up Lips For Mugshot?!
We wouldn't put it past her!
Several plastic surgeons believe that Lindsay Lohan underwent a cosmetic procedure to have fuller lips in her mugshot upon entering Lynwood Regional Detention Center on Tuesday.
"There is no question that Ms. Lohan had filler of some type in her lips," sad Dr. Michael Olding, the Chief of the Division of Plastic Surgery at George Washington University.
Dermatologist Dr. Kenneth Beer added:
"She has had injections of a filler such as Restylane or Juvederm. To me, it looks like about 1 to 2 syringes of product were used on her upper and lower lips… it will last for about 6 to 8 months." He also believe she "had some Botox [injected into] her forehead and frown lines."
Sad.
"Lohan knew the photo of her mugshot would be widely distributed. It is likely she had it done for this reason," said dermatologist Dr. Marcy Street.
Yikes! The girl obviously has issues.

The cast of The Jersey Shore went all Newsies on MTV this week, striking from the network until they were given their fair share of $$$. For awhile there, season 3 wasn't looking like it was going to happen, but then, the powers that be at MTV realized their greed and went ahead and gave everyone what they wanted!
This morning, they made the official announcement, saying that the whole gang will be returning to Seaside Heights for season 3.

Looks like the cast of Jersey Shore are holding out for more money.
Snooki, Sitch, and the gang were supposed to begin shooting scenes this weekend for season 3, however, the cast has refused to let crews film them until they get new contracts.
Sources say that "the cast feels they can make more money doing appearances for two months, rather than filming the show."
Wasn't MTV going to find a whole new cast for Season 3??
Hopefully both sides can reach a middle ground - quickly!

Is Xtina Feuding With Her Record Label?
That's what some music insiders are saying.
Since Christina Aguilera's album, Bionic, flopped BIG TIME, sources are saying that her record label RCA is in "rescue mode."
And they SHOULD be!
Bionic barely sold 200,000 copies in its first five weeks of releas and even made UK history for being the lowest-selling album to make it to the number one spot in eight years. She also had to cancel her summer tour.
Insiders say that her label "has done its part, but she's headstrong. There have been candid conversations between her and the label about connectivity, but it doesn't seem that she's been open to that dialogue."
A rep for RCA has denied that there's tension adding that FailTina "is a pillar of the RCA Music Group and is an undeniable talent with one of the greatest voices of our time. She continues to push herself as an artist, and we are behind her efforts 100 percent."
Her manager, Irving Azoff, added, "I am the one who deals with the label, and this couldn't be further from the truth."
We're not buying it! RCA is most likely doing damage control and wants Xtina to shape up!

Mel Gibson’s Church Increases Security
Now that Mel Gibson has become one of the most hated men in America, security at the actor's church has been put on "high alert."
A member at Mel's congregation says they are currently checking IDs and "making sure there aren't extra people in approved cars," as well as hiring guards to be stationed around the property.
They have also increased security at Mel's home around the clock.
Sources add that Osksana Grigorieva stopped attending the church in February, which was a month before she alleged that Mel physically assaulted her.

Earlier we reported that Paris Hilton was caught with marijuana at the Figari airport in Corsica, but authorities let her go because of the small amount of drugs she had in her possession.
But now the heiress is denying the story, writing on her Twitter:

After The Hills finale finally let all three people who still thought that it was real in on the revelation that everything is, in fact, staged, the show's actress Lo Bosworth decided to try and keep stirring the pot by writing this little piece of art on her blog!

TWIST! Tuesday night, viewers said in disappointed shock, "OMG was ‘The Hills' really fake all this time?" I mean, that's what you guys have been saying forever, right? Ha ha. Don't worry. It wasn't fake. I have never shot any ‘Hills' scenes on a stage of any kind.
Rest assured, we were simply poking fun in the way that our viewers have done since the show began to air. Our show's undeniable production value sometimes made the validity of it all questionable, but in truth (and this really is the truth), the relationships with those on the show are real.
Lauren, Kristin, and I have known each other since we were all under 5ft tall. No conspiracy there. As for the others-we met them all when moving to L.A. Sure, some relationships were pushed by producers, but once pushed, blossomed into real life friendship (or hatred, take your pick).
So, lovely reader and watcher of ‘The Hills'-it was just a big joke's on you, without it really, truly being one. Just messin' with you guys a little. In the end, we're all in the same boat, right?
Yeah - nice try! This isn't Lost, princess, there's no room for discussion and interpretation on what the ending really meant.
Or maybe she really just is so thick-headed that she didn't realize that being fed dialogue and staged in scenes means 'scripted!'
