Jewelry Store Screwed On The Sale Of Lindsay’s Surveillance Tape

Serves them right for getting so money hungry!

If you haven't heard, the jewelry store in Venice that Lindsay Lohan allegedly stole a necklace from put the surveillance tape from that fateful day online so that people could pay $2.99 a pop to watch.

Oh yeah, they thought they would be raking in the $$$ from this, but it turns out, Lindsay hasn't been as profitable for them as they planned.

Sources reveal that owners of Kamofie & Company "got a raw deal" and haven't seen any of the profits from the sale of this tape yet. The source adds that the owners feel like they've been played and are currently having their contracts reviewed by lawyers to see why that is.

Let's be frank - you're not getting scammed. It's just that no one is buying what you are selling!!! This is OLD news and BORING news if you can't actually see Lindsay stealing anything. What, you think people are going to piss their money away on this?!

Chris Brown Is Not Welcome On Dancing With The Stars

At least not by it's host.

This week, despite causing quite an unnecessary commotion the last time he appeared on the alphabet network, Chris Brown will be performing on ABC's Dancing With The Stars. Though the suits may have forgiven him for breaking company property and causing a violet scene, Tom Bergeron isn't as easy going.

This morning, while speaking withRyan Seacrest on his morning radio show, Tom revealed that he warned producers not to let him speak to Chris, as he can't guarantee he won't say something to him about last week's outburst on Good Morning America. He said to Ryan:

"Here's the thing. I did say to the producers that it might be to their advantage to not have me interview him, because my natural tendency would be to say something. You know? So don't put me in a position where you're asking me to not say something, ’cause I won't really do that. Even if it's just a snarky little aside, you know, 'How was your week?'"

Nor should you have to censor yourself, Tom, not for the likes of him! For someone reason, he thinks he's above having to answer for his actions…and he is dead wrong. But then again, people keep playing by his rules just so to make him happy.

We don't understand and sure as hell doesn't benefit anyone or help people get over what happened. But whatever, their show!

Black Swan Producers Defend Natalie Portman

Producers of Black Swan are standing by Natalie Portman.

After the star's dance double, Sarah Lane, made claims that Natalie only performed around 5 percent of the full body shots in the film, saying that producers created a "facade that [Portman] had become a ballerina in a year and a half," Fox Searchlight has responded, releasing this statement:

"We were fortunate to have Sarah there to cover the more complicated dance sequences and we have nothing but praise for the hard work she did," the statement reads. "However, Natalie herself did most of the dancing featured in the final film."

Natalie's choreographer and baby daddy Benjamin Millipied insists that 85 percent of the dancing scenes were filmed with Natalie's body.

Hmm, we wonder who to believe? Maybe both sides are doing a slight bit of exaggeration.

We fell in love with Natalie's performance in the movie. It'd be a shame if it really was a facade.

Portman’s Dance Double Slams Her With "5 Percent" Claim

The dancing double ballerina for Natalie Portman is tired of being hushed about how much dancing she did in the movie, and is now speaking out about it.

This comes after we brought you the news of Natalie's instructor/baby daddy/fiancée defending Natalie and how much she actually did in the movie.

So how much does the double, Sarah Lane, claim the actress did?

“Of the full body shots, I would say 5 percent are Natalie. All the other shots are me.”

That's a HUGE difference from what we heard from the instructor (he said 85%).

Lane obviously disagrees:

“The shots that are just her face with arms, those shots are definitely Natalie,” she says. “But that doesn’t show the actual dancing.”

Lane also claims that producer Ari Handel specifically told her to keep her mouth shut:

“They wanted to create this idea in people’s minds that Natalie was some kind of prodigy or so gifted in dance and really worked so hard to make herself a ballerina in a year and a half for the movie, basically because of the Oscar,” says Lane. “It is demeaning to the profession and not just to me. I’ve been doing this for 22 years…. Can you become a concert pianist in a year and a half, even if you’re a movie star?”

But, even if this is all true, Lane doesn't harbor any jealous or anger toward the Oscar award winning actress. In fact, she thinks she did a wonderful job:

“I do give her a lot of credit because in a year and a half she lost a lot of weight and she really tried to go method and get into a dancers head and really feel like a ballet dancer. [Natalie] is an amazing actress, for sure,” she says. “I know that it’s not a personal thing against me. I know that it’s just a political thing. It’s just unfortunate that I kind of lost credit.”

Wow. We're not sure what to believe. We do know that they have the technology and means to superimpose Natalie's face over Lane's, but it'd be nice to really hear an accurate account of who did the representation in the film.

A lot of the reasons Natalie won, to us, were the scene outside of the dancing, and the emotion she conveyed through her acting and facial expressions. It wasn't ALL about the dancing for us.

First Female Vice-Presidential Nominee Geraldine Ferraro Dies

A true American trailblazer has died.

The first woman to run for Vice President, Geraldine Ferraro, passed away on Saturday at the age of 75.

She had been battling cancer for more than a decade.

Ferraro was Walter Mondale's running mate against Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush in 1984.

During her campaign, she was known for saying, "Modern life is confusing. Make no Ms.-take about it."

She was also the first Italian-American to run on a major party ticket.

Ferraro was surrounded by her loved ones at Massachusetts General in Boston.

She will be truly missed.

Khloe Swears She’s Not Looking To Get Knocked Up

Forget everything you've heard. Disregard the 30 dozens of reports to the contrary. Khloe Kardashian isn't having a baby and that's just fine by her!

As the world has been on baby bump watch with Khloe since the day she got quickly hitched to Lamar Odom, she realizes the world perceives her to be obsessed with having children. But in a new interview, she clarified that this rumor was just that and explained to sources:

"I'm not desperate to have a baby. Do I want children? Yes. But I'm very happy being just Lamar and I. I think a baby would add so much to us, but right now, I'm so content and so happy with the way things are. People think I would sell my hair to have a child."

No! Not your hair! Who said that? Maybe your soul or one of your sisters, perhaps? (We kid, we kid.)

Despite claiming that she isn't quite ready to be a mother yet, that doesn't mean the reality star, who's own show is coming out next month, isn't at least thinking about having a lil' Kardashian of her own. She added:

"Trying to get pregnant is hard. People don't seem to realize that you only have three days out of the month to get pregnant. And if you miss those three days, you have to wait for the next month. If I don't get pregnant in a few years, then we'll call the doctor and figure out what happened."

So…look for that to happen in the second season of Khloe and Lamar! LOLZ!

Liz Taylor’s Long Kept Secret

We're all saddened by the loss of Elizabeth Taylor, and it seems like that the star had kept a secret for a friend of hers until she died.

The secret was told to interviewer Kevin Sessums, and he was made to promise that he wouldn't reveal it until her death. The secret is about film legend James Dean.

Here's what she kept to herself and Sessums:

"I loved Jimmy. I'm going to tell you something, but it's off the record until I die. OK? When Jimmy was 11 and his mother passed away, he began to be molested by his minister. I think that haunted him the rest of his life. In fact, I know it did. We talked about it a lot. During Giant we'd stay up nights and talk and talk, and that was one of the things he confessed to me."

That's so sad, and so horrible. We're shocked to hear this as most everyone probably is.

We'll always remember James and Elizabeth. She was a true friend, and a wonderful person. We're so sorry that James had to go through that when he was younger, as nobody should ever have to.

Apple Takes Down "Gay Cure" App

So there was this app in the Apple App Store recently aimed at “homosexual strugglers” by Christian group Exodus International.

That app, apparently due to outcry and possibly an online petition with over more than 145k followers, has been yanked from the store!

Apple, who is notorious for not having a clear outline on what's allowed and what isn't allowed in the App Store, has not released a comment as to why the app has been removed. We think we'll hear from them soon enough, though!

Now, while obviously we don't support or agree with the app and it's content, we DO feel however that they have the right to have their app in the store.

The app had been available since Feb. 15th.

Michael Lohan Opens Up About Domestic Abuse Arrest

Michael Lohan spoke in an interview about his arrest, and he had quite a bit to say from his hospital bed.

The short of it is this: Kate Major is a liar. He didn't do it.

We're not sure who's telling the truth here, but Lohan does get pretty specific in his recount of what happened.

And here's his story:

“Yesterday I went to all my therapy meetings and went to the house and Kate was there. She’s been staying at my place. It’s a lie that she wasn’t staying there. She wanted to go out to dinner but I said no, I’d rather go to Blockbuster and bring food home so she wouldn’t drink at the restaurant.

“When we got back to the house after Blockbuster she was in the bedroom and I was cooking dinner when she started screaming. She was yelling ‘what the f**k is this? You’re a piece of s**t. Who is Maryann Mancuso?’ and that is a friend of mine.

“She was holding my phone and I grabbed it away from her and she had something sharp in her hand and she grabbed my arm and slashed my arm open.

“I told her to get out of here, you get your stuff and get out of here right now. I should have listened to my counselors and everyone else. I then said to her by the way, now I’m calling the cops. I put my shoes on and she left.

“She said I gave her a fat lip, she has Restylane in her lips. I didn’t give her a fat lip. She did the same thing in West Hampton. I didn’t touch her, she’s full of crap. I have cuts on my arm. She put fake makeup on her eyes before.

“Kate drove to the police station. She was drunk when she drove to the police station. I called the police, I called 9-1-1, and said I wanted to press charges on my girlfriend. They connected me to the West Hollywood station and they asked where I was. I said I was on the street walking towards the police station and I flagged down a police car.

“I just got out of Celebrity Rehab for co-dependency and that’s the last thing I wanted. This was all a set up. When my lawyers resolve this with the police and I prove this is all a set up the world is going to know about Kate Major.”

Quite the tale you weave, Michael! We guess that the truth will come out one way or another.

On one hand, if you did do this, it's really atrocious. On the other, if she lied about it, that's really terrible too and she should seek some help.

Either way, someone did something that is no good and it needs to stop!

TCM To Air 24 Hour Elizabeth Taylor Movie Tribute

What a wonderful idea!

TCM announced that it will be running a 24 hour Elizabeth Taylor movie marathon in tribute to the late actress's prolific and fabulous career!

Not only that, but BIO has announced that it will be showing a two hour intimate special on her life!

The TCM tribute will be showing on April 10th, starting at 6 am, and will include both of her Oscar award-winning roles, Butterfield 8 at 8 p.m. and Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? at 10 pm (eastern).

Darren Criss Loves Democracy!

All the cool kids do!

On March 23rd, Glee's Darren Criss will kick off the first ever Democracy Day in partnership with Rock the Vote and the National Education Association. The idea is to promote awareness about our government and the upcoming elections to classrooms around the nation.

Darren will be on hand at Hamilton High School in L.A. to help launch the program with a "one-class-period program that uses pop culture, video, discussion and mock election to teach young people to engage as active citizens in the election process."

Of the program, Darren told sources:

“The voting process can be a bit overwhelming and at times confusing, particularly for first time voters. I’m very excited to be a part of such a comprehensive effort that both educates and encourages young people about the importance of their vote.”

Agreed! Young people are the voice of the future, so they should have a say in the present. If this program can help them make more informed choices, then we're all for it!

Hopefully, this will be something that catches on!

Most Catholics Are Supportive Of Gay Rights

Such good news. According to reports, Catholics are more supportive of gay and lesbian rights than other Christians and even the general public.

The CEO of Public Religion Research Institute, Dr. Robert P. Jones, reveals:

"It may come as a surprise to many that rank and file Catholics are more supportive of rights for gays and lesbians than other Christians and the public.

But the best data available paints this consistent portrait across a range of issues, including same-sex marriage, workplace non-discrimination, open military service, and adoption rights for gay and lesbian couples."

The results found that about 43% of Catholics favored allowing gay and lesbian people to marry and 31% were ok with them forming civil unions.

An impressive 6 out of 10 also favored allowing gays to adopt children as well as serve openly in the military.

Let's hope others can start being more supportive!

Top Talent Up For Lady Total Recall Leads

Everybody knows that Hollywood is remaking Total Recall because, well, it was awesome to begin with and why not?

The producers of Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark have decided to completely clean the place out of all their creators. Sources are reporting that the show's choreographer, Daniel Ezralow, is in the midsts of being replaced!

This is actually rather shocking to us, considering that Daniel is a excellent artist, whose work has been praised in productions all over New York, including in this show! That's right! Read some of the reviews. One of the few things critics do agree on across the board with the show is how much they love the mid-air battles, which were all Daniel's doing!

So, they are getting rid of someone who's actually making the show run smooth? WTF?! Where's the sense in that? (Rumor has it, however, that Daniel is a good friend of Julie Taymor's and his allegiance might make him a liability to the new director hired. Just a thought. )

At this point, if the producers gave Bono the boot we wouldn't be half-surprised!

Such a waste of $70 million! Ugh!

A Fox Late Night Show For Charlie??

Reports are coming in that the MaSheen has had a secret meeting with Fox execs!

It lasted more than an hour, and the topics at hand were possible new show projects that could fit a warlock sized man, including a late night show!

Here's who he met with:

Charlie sat down last Thursday with Mike Darnell, President of Alternative Entertainment for FOX, David Hill, President of FOX Sports, and Peter Rice, Chariman of Entertainment for FOX Networks Group.

Unfortunately, nothing has been decided, so it just stands as a meet-and-greet with possibilities for now!

Maybe he'll get an animated show and REALLY get to go all out on the weirdness??

Smart Move! Miley To Tour Overseas!

Been a while!

After almost two years since her last concert tour, Miley Cyrus is going overseas to perform for her international fans.

Things kick off at Estadio Olimpico Atahualpa in Quito, Ecuador on April 29. From there, she'll hit Lima, Peru on May 1st. A full list of tour dates/locations has yet to be announced.

Here's what a source had to say about Miley's tour:

"Miley has a huge fanbase worldwide. She's pumped that her scheduled has opened up and allowed her to perform for fans abroad."

Looks like she's most likely not going to perform in the U.S., which is probably not a bad idea.

Unfortunately, her last album didn't do so well and her fans are starting to grow up, so we could see why she might not be a huge draw in America right now.
