Gay Teen Gets A Prom Settlement!

Constance McMillen is being paid ,000 in damages from the Fulton, Mississippi school district after they discriminated against her when she wanted to bring her girlfriend to prom.
The school district has also agreed to adopt a policy banning discrimination based on sexual orientation.
Constance says:
"I'm so glad this is all over. I won't ever get my prom back, but it's worth it if it changes things at my school."
