X Factor: Simon’s Sidekick Defends Cher’s Diva Behavior!
The latest to chime in on Cher Lloyd and her supposed "antics" on and behind-the-scenes of X Factor is Simon Cowell's assistant/sidekick Sinitta, who maintains that Lloyd's attitude is due to her being only 17!
She explains:
“I think Cher wants to wear boyish clothes and people have tried to persuade her otherwise. Cheryl's probably found Cher more difficult than previous contestants, but I find her quite exciting and authentic. You try and deal with their needs but you don’t need to end up feeling like you’re being abused or someone’s being rude. That’s what all teenagers are like, it’s not just because she’s on X Factor. I’m not saying there aren’t better ways of expressing yourself but I understand that every artist wants to feel they look good on stage. Cher cries the most. It’s more out of frustration, she wants things her way and she has a very particular mind about what she wants yet sometimes she can’t articulate it.”
We think it's best that she learn sooner, rather than later, that in this industry, she's going to have to be open to more collaboration, and understand that she might not always know what's best!
You can still be you, bb, but you need to be able to LISTEN - especially when you have such talented and experienced people surrounding you, wanting you to succeed!
